4th dimension design studio
As a new company 4th Dimension Design Studio wanted to appear as a professional and competent architectural visualization company. I was approached by them with a basic sketch and idea of what they wanted. The basic company name "4th Dimension" refers to time, creating visualizations of things that do not yet exist, like looking into the future. The basic form uses the impossible triangle, playing of the ideas of illusion, time and space. I refined their ideas and created a logo for them. To further develop the visual identity a business card was also designed.
access granted technologies inc.
Access Granted Technology Inc. sets up home automation, a single system that controls all electronic aspects of a home such as security, lighting and temperature. I re-designed their visual identity focusing on the idea of “access” through the forward leaning shapes and the complementing “green light” colour. The graphic elements and colour palette support the idea of technology. So that they would be successful in maintaining their brand in the future I also created identity specifications and guidelines for them.

As part of the team that re-designed the Calgary Stampede corporate identity, my job was to re-design the Calgary Stampede stationery, forms, documents and build Microsoft Word templates. Working with the project manager, we also designed and put together the stationery, cheque and form specification packages.
genius support foundation
I volunteered to create the visual identity for the Genius Support Foundation charity. This charities goal is to support talented young minds in third world countries to do great things. I used the symbol for eternity to show how truly great and influential people like Albert Einstein are forever remembered. The yellow circle like a shining star represents how a genius affects the world in their time and the future, forever making a mark in history.

Guest-Tek is the world's largest provider of internet solutions to the hospitality industry and recently, media and voice were added to their product line. As an in-house graphic designer, I had the opportunity to create and further develop their corporate identity and branding to reflect these changes. I used a stylized image of a hand to emphasize their existing tagline “freedom of reach”.

As an hobby Jenny is an event florist. She needed a logo and business card to spread the word.
modern finish painting
As a brand new company, Modern Finishes Painting was in need of a visual identity. They provide interior and exterior residential professional painting services. The emphasis on paint swatches seemed important as the client would likely decide on their new colours for the project with paint swatches to be given to the painter. Typically, clients want to update their home with a fresh, new coat of paint. To support the idea of personalization the tagline “show off your true colours” was developed. To maintain brand consistency visual identity guidelines were also created.

The NRCB wanted brand consistency for their new logo. KADG contracted me to help develop a new consistent look throughout their stationery sets, documents, forms and Microsoft Word templates. Comprehensive specifications and guidelines of all their business papers were put together as an employee reference. To complement and promote the new brand, a desktop display for tradeshows and a label for promotional water bottles were also designed.

society of calgary
This charity provides therapeutic horse back riding for children with physical and/or mental challenges. They were in need of a meaningful and professional looking visual identity. The goal was to be engaging while provoke a sense of freedom and accomplishment through innocence and fantasy. The logo: the naive drawing of the mystical pegasus supports the idea of being whimsical. The huge gait or leap of the horse describes the opportunity for accomplishment and possibility. The wordmark sits under the drawing to emphasize the uplifting flying nature of the pegasus.
petro-canada

I had the opportunity to be part of the team that assessed Petro-Canada's identity and brand. I was involved in developing comprehensive guidelines and specifications for employees so they can maintain a consistent brand. I also created templates and art files for employee and supplier use. To help Petro-Canada maintain their brand, Corporate Identity Guidelines, Merchandising Guidelines, Logo Inventory, Olympic and Paralympic Guidelines, Canadian Stationery Specifications, International Stationery Specifications were developed.
yoga attic
As a new company yoga attic wanted its first appearance to make a lasting impression. I was approached by them to design their visual identity. The emblem is made of 3 parts. The centre floating green circle represents the mind and physical position of the studio in the attic. The larger teal circle represents the body that holds the mind. The organic shape in the background represents the spiritual and suggests the ornate designs from the origin of yoga in india. Lower case letters are used to appear approachable and friendly. The font has rounded attributes that suggest an organic feeling. The colour palette includes muted cool colours producing a calming effect.
ptk construction management corporation
PTK Construction Management Corporation provides consulting and execution management services to industrial clients. PTK was looking to update their look while maintaining their basic corporate colours. To represent that they oversee all aspects of a project the idea of a building casting a shadow was developed. A stylized font with construction like characteristics was chosen to further strengthen the brand. To complete their visual identity, a stationery set including letterhead, business card and mailing label was designed.

RANA required a new refreshing look to enhance their image and build visual continuity between their growing departments and locations. As part of the team that re-designed the RANA corporate identity my job was to re-design the logo, stationery sets, forms, and build Mircosoft Word templates. The trusting and stabilizing colour of blue along with the idea of air currents became a major factor in the overall design. Visual identity guidelines were created so that they could successfully maintain their new brand.

Enerjet is a new charter airline company. I was asked to use their newly created idenity throughout all their company collateral to strengthen the brand. To date I have further developed collateral such as stationery templates, banners, identification badges and small ads.

Studio H2O creates abstract landscape paintings and was opening up a new art studio. I was approached by Studio H2O with a basic sketch and idea of what they wanted their logo to look like. Following their direction I refined their ideas and created a logo for them. To further develop a visual identity a business card was also designed.
s2 architecture
An S2 project.
SSE Architecture changed their company name to S2 Architecture and required a new corporate identity. The design was kept simple and the company colours remained the same as a visual tie to their old identity. The curves of the letter S reflects their flexibility, confident direction and creativity. The 2 represents the two partners. It also represents duality and balance, important elements in architecture. The basic shape of the square is trusted and familiar while denoting stability. These characteristics are not only important in architecture but also in a company.
spinnermax inc.
Spinnermax Inc. produces real estate photography and 360 degree virtual tours for marketing purposes. Spinnermax decided that it required a new, consistent and professional looking visual identity. To play up the company services and name a stylized rotating shutter was developed. The colour palette is derived from the RGB colour model in which red, green, and blue light can reproduce a broad array of colours. Appropriate since photography is the process of recording pictures by means of capturing light on a light-sensitive medium. Stationery and visual identity guidelines were created so that they could successfully maintain their new brand.
the titan solution
The Titan Solution contacted me to update and refine their visual identity. To create a more professional look I simplified the colour palette, logo and business card to show only meaningful and necessary information. I used the colour purple to further emphasize ideas of spirituality.
true dimensional studios
True Dimensional Studios creates realistic three-dimensional architectural renderings and animations. The created images are representations of the real word, they are virtual. To illustrate the twist in reality or “truth” the “e” in true was turned upside down and emphasized with a contrasting colour. The mesh and grid like background elements represent the framework in which three dimensional images are created.
