I had the opportunity to design a small invitation for a baby shower. The goal was to suggest these new mom's to be are hip and in style.

I had the opportunity to theme and design the Calgary French and International School grand opening invitation, program and rsvp. Since it is a language school it was easy to use the basic ideas of language for the booklets. I used typography to emphasize quotes and definitions about language.

S2 Architecture recently changed office locations and wanted to show it off to their clients. The theme was based on the movie industry in Hollywood. The guests received an invitation which looked like a movie premier ticket and when they arrived at the party they entered on a red carpet where they were greeted by employees dressed in tuxes and gowns. The invitation even included a tear off portion to be used for a VIP parking pass.

"unveiling the collection"

This party was the launch of a new company name. The title “Unveiling the collection” was developed it was about showing off the employees of S2 Architecture. Every employee brought in an object to represent themselves and posted beside it was their stylized portrait and biography. The party was held at Art Space Gallery which was very fitting for showing off S2 Architecture’s collection. To complete the client party branding, an invitation, reminder map, name tags, coasters, biographies, streaming video and gobo’s were designed.

Celebrating 10 years, SSE wanted to show clients they are looking to th future. The title “Design; it’s in our nature” supports ideas of sustainablility. The main design components include endless lines in the 3 basic shapes representing man made designs. The underlying shapes represent designs in nature (bubbles, spiderweb, honeycomb). The colour scheme is fresh, bright and includes green representing our environment. To complete the party branding, an invitation, wall graphic installation, banners and giveaway bamboo were designed.

"pigs do fly"

“When Pig’s Fly” was the theme of the wedding. Having dated since high school - friends and family of the couple waited impatiently over the years. A long time coming to say the least. It was an intimate backyard ceremony with closest friends and family. The goal was to be fun and lighthearted with the focus on the impossible flying pig. A hint of quirky carnval meets romance. Unique mixtures of fonts, textures and patterns were used to emphasize this. Hot pink was the accent colour set off against the contrasting neutrals of black, white and silver.
